Buenos Aires may be the biennale's ground zero this year but 379 artworks are being exhibited from September to December in in more than 30 cities and 16 countries.

The impeccably white Palais de Glace in Buenos Aires is a national historic monument that once housed the country's fine art museum. But these days it looks like a giant candy cane.

Aunque “Constelación del Vino”, la Fiesta Nacional de la Vendimia 2018, se realizará recién en marzo, en los departamentos ya se empiezan a respirar aires vendimiales. Son tres los municipios que han lanzado convocatorias para que se inscriban las interesadas en acceder a las coronas distritales. 

La comuna de Rivadavia anunció la inscripción a fines de agosto y las jóvenes tenían tiempo de presentarse hasta ayer. Los requisitos para las aspirantes son: ser argentina o naturalizada y tener residencia de dos años como mínimo en el departamento; ser mayor de 18 años y poseer estudios secundarios aprobados (de hecho, deben presentar el analítico que certifique que terminaron la secundaria).

They are in their ninth decade of life, but the rhythm of tango still thrills in the legs of Oscar and Nina.

Even their competitors at last week's tango world championship conceded that this couple danced the most authentic tango of all.

Having learned tango during its golden age in 1940s Buenos Aires, Oscar Brusco and Nina Chudoba are some of the longest-surviving proponents of the art.
